This flexible, visual activity pack invites children to discover stars, planets, moons and how humans explore space.
Along the way, they’ll explore why the Sun is a star, meet the eight planets, discover what happened to Pluto, investigate gravity and orbits, and find out what causes day and night. Then it’s time to head beyond Earth to explore rockets, astronauts, life in space and the Moon landings.
There’s plenty to do as well as discover, with visual explanations, short challenges, an audio activity, matching and recall activities, and opportunities to design, draw, build and tell stories. Children can even design their own Moon rover and create a planet adventure using drawing, storytelling or LEGO.
Designed to be used flexibly, children can read, listen, talk, point, draw, build or simply explore the parts that interest them - there’s no need to complete everything in one sitting or in a particular way.
